A new monthly farmers market will come to Carmarthenshire next month.
From May to October 2024, Llandovery Town Council will launch a farmers’ market that will run on the first Saturday of every month from 10am-2pm.
The market will feature a range of locally produced food, drink, and other produce in Llandovery’s Market Square.
Llandovery Farmers Market Manager Raoul Bhambral said: “This is going to be an exciting time for Llandovery. It is already a thriving, vibrant town and a lovely place to be – a farmers’ market will be an additional attraction for all.
“Whether you produce meat and vegetables, eggs and dairy or breads, cakes and cheeses, I want to hear from you. We want to provide a great choice of quality, locally produced food.”
Mayor of Llandovery, Gina Jones added: “I am delighted to see a Farmer’s Market in Llandovery again. It will be good to have fresh, locally grown produce on sale. We hope to see you there."
