An employee at a Carmarthen care home has received a Long Service Award to celebrate 30 years.
Ann Davies, an activities assistant at Plas y Dderwen Care Home, started at the Barchester-run facility in April 1994.
During her tenure, she has ensured the residents' needs were met.
On receiving her award, a surprise party was thrown, offering live entertainment and a buffet.
Ms Davies was also presented with £250 of vouchers and a bouquet of flowers from the team.
Adele Keenan, employee services director at Barchester said: "I’m delighted Ann Davies has achieved this milestone.
"It is dedication like this that ensures our residents are provided with a happy place to live."
Senior general manager of Plas y Dderwen, Sharon Herbert, voiced her delight, stating: "Today has been wonderful and Ann had absolutely no idea.
"I’m looking forward to many more years of working with Ann."
Plas y Dderwen, part of the Barchester Healthcare group, provides residential, nursing, and dementia care for 69 residents, from respite care to long-term stays.
