The chilling theatrical production Shock Horror: A Ghost Story is set to tour the UK this autumn.
This will include visiting Swansea Grand Theatre between September 17-21.
Presented by Thunder Road Theatre, the eerie performance promises a chilling mix of live action and large screen visuals - a horrifying journey into the haunted past of Herbert, a character who spent his childhood confined in a spooky old cinema.
Portrayed by actor Alex Moran, Herbert returns to the abandoned cinema he once called home, looking for answers to long-buried questions. As Herbert delves into the darkness of the cinema, the audience is carried along on a nerve-wracking journey where the real horror is only beginning.
The cast also includes Chloe Proctor as Norma, Joseph Carter as Jack, and Chris Blackwood as Karras.
Alex Moran, producer and actor, shared the team's excitement. He said: "We’re delighted with the excitement and demand the show has generated since it began. Supported by a fantastic tour this year across three countries. We can’t wait to start scaring again.”
Shock Horror's writer and director, Ryan Simons, also expressed his anticipation. He said: "The venues we're visiting this year are brilliant, full of atmosphere for a ghost story. It's our third time touring this show and each time it grows into something creepier. We can't wait to be in the dark again with an auditorium full of scared people!"
Performances at Swansea Grand Theatre will run at 7.30pm nightly, with additional 2.30pm matinees on September 19 and 21. For ticket information, visit the Thunder Road Theatre website.
