A MAN has been accused of stealing more than £16,000 from The Food Warehouse.
Richard Lewis, 37, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court charged with theft by an employee and burglary.
It was alleged that Lewis stole £16,155 from The Food Warehouse whilst he was employed by the company on July 8, 2021.

He was also alleged to have entered The Food Warehouse in Cross Hands as a trespasser on December 17, 2021, and stole a CCTV system and £818.03 in cash.
Lewis, of Cwmfelin Way in the Waun Wen area of Swansea, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates' Court on May 9, where he was granted bail.
He will appear at Swansea Crown Court to enter his pleas on June 10.
