Llandovery Carnival took place over the bank holiday weekend with the welcome return of the street parade (May 26) with 'The Movies' theme.

The parade hadn't been seen for several years and it the streets of the town were awash with colour as residents decorated floats and donned wonderful costumes.

The parade through crowds of people was led by Mayor Mathew Paul and Mayoress Annabel Graham Paul, from Ysgol Rhys Pritchard to Llandovery Rugby Ground, where there were many stalls and fairground attractions.
