There will be a music festival taking place in Penybanc, Ammanford in June.
Penybanc RFC, is hosting its very first live music bonanza, Pitchfest @ Penybanc RFC, at the ground on Penybanc Road, on Saturday, June 8.
A day filled with music, food, beer, and fun is promised, and the club committee has high hopes of the festival becoming an annual event.
Six live bands will perform between 2pm and 8pm, with the gates opening at 1pm.
It is hoped that many from the neighbouring areas will join and support the festival's inaugural year.
The festival lineup features The Troubadours at 2pm, No Direction at 3pm, 3LO at 4pm, Brightside at 5pm, Snatch It Back at 6pm, and Peep Show wrapping up the live music at 7pm.
Attendees over 12 years old will be charged £10 for entry whilst those under 12 go free.
Additional festivities include food stalls and children's activities.
Club chairman Hayden Morgan said: "We really hope that Pitchfest will be a huge success.
"There have been lots of amazing initiatives in the club over the last few years and we’d like to showcase some of those things to the local community.
"Penybanc RFC really is a club run by local volunteers for the benefit of the community so please come along and see us and enjoy some live music and of course a few beers too!
"Fingers crossed that the sun will also come out and support us."
Upon conclusion of the live music, entertainment will be provided in the clubhouse.
Chairs and picnics are welcome, though only drinks purchased at the venue can be consumed onsite.
Unfortunately, dogs won't be allowed in due to the event taking place on the rugby pitch.
