A MAN attacked another man and two women in Ammanford on Christmas Day.
Craig Jones, 39, of Geiriol Road in the Townhill area of Swansea, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court charged with three offences of assault by beating.
The court was told that the incident involved an “unprovoked attack of a serious nature” and that there were “vulnerable victims” in the case.

Jones admitted each of the offences on June 13.
He was sentenced to 18 weeks, suspended for 12 months, running concurrently for each of the offences. Although the offences were so serious that they crossed the custody threshold, it was deemed that Jones had a realistic prospect of rehabilitation as he was currently showing good progress whilst working with the probation service.
Jones was ordered to pay each victim £100 in compensation, and must also pay £85 in costs and a £154 surcharge.
Each of Jones’ victims was granted a five-year restraining order against him.
