A WARRANT has been issued for the arrest of a man accused of repeatedly assaulting a woman after he didn’t show up at court.
Lee Wilson, 43, was charged with four offences of assault occasioning actual bodily harm and one charge of intentional strangulation.
He was alleged to have assaulted a woman in Trebanos on four occasions between January 1 and May 25.
Wilson was alleged to have strangled the same woman on May 25.

The defendant, whose given address to the court was Heol Y Llwynau in Trebanos, near Pontardawe, failed to show up at Swansea Crown Court on June 24 to enter his pleas.
David Leathley, defending, said attempts had been made to contact Wilson, but no-one had been able to reach him.
Judge Huw Rees issued a warrant for Wilson’s arrest for breaching the terms of his bail by not attending court.
