A MAN stole two bottles of beer and smashed two other bottles at a Tesco store.
Christopher Evans, 32, of Heol Y Foel in Foelgastell, appeared at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court charged with shoplifting and criminal damage.
It was alleged that he stole two bottles of beer worth £3.18 from a Tesco Extra store in Carmarthenshire on June 26.

He was also accused of smashing two more bottles of beer – again worth £3.18.
Evans pleaded guilty to both offences on June 27, and the case was adjourned for the preparation of a pre-sentence report.
He was warned that all sentencing options remained open, and was granted bail. He’ll be sentenced at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on July 18.
