A DISQUALIFIED driver has been jailed after driving a van from London to west Wales.
Haxai Hoxha, 34, of no fixed abode, was charged with driving whilst disqualified and using a vehicle without insurance.
It was alleged that Hoxha had driven a Volkswagen van on the A48 at Porthyrhyd having driven it from London on June 19. The defendant was banned from driving at the time and had no insurance.

Hoxha pleaded guilty to both offences at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on June 21.
The defendant was jailed for eight weeks due to the “significant distance driven” and that the van had been obtained whilst Hoxha was disqualified.
Hoxha was also handed a 13-month driving ban, and was ordered to pay a £154 surcharge.
