A local tennis club saw an increase in participation levels from their summer coaching sessions.

Llandybie Tennis Club ended their six-week training block last Wednesday where over 100 players attended weekly and many more joined the waiting list.

Ace Tennis Coaching with Dai & Mark has had a positive impact on the club and there are a range of events planned this summer.

The club has weekly ladies, men’s and mixed social sessions, in addition to, a social American doubles tournament on August 17 and a 12-hour Tennis-a-Thon on August 24 which aims to raise money for the Young Lives vs Cancer Charity.

The men’s team have entered both the summer and winter leagues while the ladies’ team has re-entered the summer league after a one-year hiatus.
