Jobcentre staff in Carmarthenshire are continuing to help support jobseekers and employers across the county.
Throughout June, Jobcentre staff in Carmarthenshire have been actively supporting various recruitment campaigns on the lookout for new labourers and other roles.
The most recent construction employment hub was held at Pentre Awel on July 19.
Carmarthenshire County Council is soon to begin redevelopment of the old Debenhams building, turning it into the Carmarthen Hwb.
The first recruitment event will be looking for construction staff on July 30.
Coleg Sir Gar in partnership with Communities for Work+ visited Llanelli Jobcentre in June to launch the informative Skills 2024 initiative.
They provide information about what it’s like to work in different sectors, and details of courses that can be included on CVs once completed, showing passion and a willingness to learn.
They have also supported Carmarthenshire County Council's upcoming summer job events, which will be happening in Carmarthen, Llanelli and Ammanford in July.
Throughout the past month, Jobcentre staff have been vital in supporting a broad range of businesses to fill various roles.
The industries recruiting include telesales, retail, care work, and teaching.
Fred Hatton of the DWP’s employer and partnership team said: "Helping people achieve financial security through work remains the key focus for our Jobcentre teams.
"This tailored, individual support provides the foundation for people to build a better life for themselves and their families."

The secretary of state for work and pensions, Liz Kendall MP, recently added her weight behind a company ethos that champions British jobseekers.
She said: "Behind these statistics are real people, who have for too long been ignored and denied the support they need to get into work and get on at work.
"It’s time for change - in every corner of the country.
"Our Plan to Get Britain Working again will overhaul jobcentres, deliver a youth guarantee, and give local areas the power they need to tackle economic inactivity and breakdown barriers to a brighter future."
