A MAN has been charged with repeatedly assaulting a woman.
Wayne Williams, 31, of Maes Y Deri in Pontyberem, appeared in the dock charged with three offences of assault by beating and one of intentional strangulation.
It was alleged that Williams assaulted a woman on two occasions in January in Llanelli, and a third time on March 6.

He was also accused of strangling the same woman on an occasion in January.
The case came before Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on July 17, and was sent to Swansea Crown Court.
Williams was granted bail, and will appear in the dock to enter his pleas on August 16.
