Trap Show 2024 was another successful event, say organisers.

The strong number and high standard of entries together with the large attendance made it a very successful day. A wonderful occasion not just for seeing the show animals looking so well, but also to hear those attending full of praise of the exhibits as well a friends old chatting and new.

Presidents for the Day were Phil and Virginia Isaac now of Llansadwrn, but who back in the 80s lived in Llwyndewi, Trap along with their two children, Christopher and Joanna who both attended the village school. As well as raising their young family and tending to the farm they had a vision – founded Brecon Water a company which with their hard work grew and has continued to do so after they sold the company. They thoroughly enjoyed being at the show.

The Digger Challenge and Children’s sports were very popular and it was lovely to see so many stalls too.

The evening entertainment included a very enthusiastic and fun packed ‘It’s a Knockout’, Quoits and a new addition this year CORNHOLE – all very enjoyable. The hog roast and live music by the Kre8ers rounded off a very successful day.

A spokesperson added: "Sincere thanks to everyone who helped make it such a success."
