A DRIVER and a motorbike rider have come before the court after being caught doing more than 100mph in Carmarthenshire.
The drivers were caught speeding on the A40 and the M4.
Their cases were heard at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court.

Here’s a round-up of the cases.
NIGEL GRIFFITHS, 58, of Kenilworth Place in the West Cross area of Swansea, was caught doing over 100mph on the M4.
Griffiths was riding a Kawasaki ZX 1000 at 109mph on the M4 between junctions 48 and 49 on August 6 last year.
He pleaded guilty to speeding, and was fined £880 at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on May 8.
Griffiths was also ordered to pay £110 in costs and a £320 surcharge, and was handed a 14-day disqualification.
MICHAEL FENWICK, 27, of Windsor Gardens in Alnwick, Northumberland, was speeding on the A40 in July last year.
Fenwick was driving a Vauxhall VXR8 at 109mph on the A40 near Nantyci Showground – a 70mph limit – on July 25, 2023.
He pleaded guilty under the single justice procedure, and was banned from driving for 14-days at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on May 8.
Fenwick was ordered to pay a £750 fine, £110 in costs and a £300 surcharge.
