The Llandeilo Agricultural Show (or Sioe Llandeilo) was held at Cawdor Farm Fields in Ffairfach on Saturday, August 17, where there was a wide range of livestock on show as well as trade stands and craft stalls.

There was an axeman competition, young handler competitions, various sheep, cattle and horse classes, vintage tractor competitions, floral art and other horticulture competitions, a dog show and much more.

A show spokesperson said: “Just when you think you can top last year’s show, this year was definitely a huge success! Thank you to all the trade stands, sponsors, craft stall holders, competitors, judges, stewards, photographers, general public the Kiltics and all our fantastic volunteers, committee members, president and lady president Mr Robin Thomas, Dolau and our 2024 chairman Mark Harries. Also thanks to Bro Dinefwr School, Llandeilo Mart, Davies family, Manyrafon and axe men shearers. We do hope you’ll join us again next year.”
