Two roads in a Carmarthenshire town will be closed for around seven weeks.
Cowell Street and the western end of Stepney Street in Llanelli will be closed from Tuesday, August 27, with the closures to remain in place for seven weeks.
The closures are to allow Carmarthenshire County Council to carry out 'essential public realm improvement works.'
Cllr Hazel Evans, the council's cabinet member for regeneration, culture, leisure and tourism, said: "The closure of these roads will allow the council to carry out essential work in line with the Tackling Towns programme.
"We thank the public for their patience whilst we carry out necessary works."
Pedestrian access will remain open and alternative parking is available in Murray Street car park as well as other streets, but there will be no alternative route for the road closure.
