MORE than 150 people took part in the rearranged Actif Amman Valley Sprint Triathlon on Sunday.

The event, which is now in its eleventh year, saw athletes taking part in a 400 metre swim, a 16 kilometre cycle, and a five kilometre run.

It had been due to take place in the spring, but was cancelled due to forecast storms.
