The Lluest Horse and Pony Trust is inviting the public to its late Summer Open Day and Dog Show.
The day offers an opportunity to meet the Trust’s rescued animals, and volunteer teams, and learn more about their work in equine rescue, rehabilitation, and rehoming.
Activities include a dog show, with judging commencing at midday and catering for all types of pooches.
An equine behaviour demonstration by Jenni Nellist will take place, as well as an eco-friendly Mud Control talk.
Additionally, Welfare Assistant, Alys Birch, will perform an equine physiotherapy pole-work demonstration.
Food options include hot Mexican specialties from Cosmo’s Mexicana and a vintage tea tent, serving homemade cakes.
Visitors can browse trade stalls presenting crafts, clothing, and more or enjoy face painting from The Makeup Lady.
The Story of The Lluest Horse and Pony Trust books, Maxima Mix N Munch horse treats, and preloved tack and rugs will be available for purchase.
Furthermore, visitors are invited to meet Captain Jack Sparrow, a rescued foal, and his foster mother Ari.
Lastly, there will be a raffle, with big prizes on offer.
The show will take place on Sunday, September 8, from 10.30am to 4pm.
Admission is free, with on-site car parking available at £5 per vehicle.
