A charity event to raise money for Brynamman's Joseph's Smile had a successful debut.

On August 24, Amman Valley Events pulled off its maiden endeavour at the village's RFC, in aid of Joseph’s Smile.

With the goal of raising both awareness and funds for the charity, the company organised the day without incurring any cost to the charity.

The day-long event, spanning from 1pm to 8pm, saw a turnout of an estimated 450 individuals.

The event had something for all ages with a range of food vendors and stalls.

Y Bocs Gin introduced their latest venture, hosting a raffle for a Welsh gin hamper and channelling all proceeds to Joseph’s Smile.

West Wales Zorbs, The Bouncy House inflatable hire, and Bassets Amusements kept the kids entertained.

Furthermore, the audience was treated to live performances from numerous musicians, including Brynamman’s own Moli Edwards, Celyn Nia Lewis, and Peepshow.

Global Radio's Alexandra Edwards was present to supervise the event, strengthening the company's connection with the radio giant that operates Capital Radio and Heart Radio among others.

Plans are underway for Amman Valley Events to hold a similar event next year.
