Prosecutor David Singh told the court that police had seized a stash of 254.4 grams of cannabis – worth an estimated £2,830 – from her car, as well as 24 grams of herbal cannabis at her home address.

Police also found 10 packets of cannabis sweets – worth around £270, and Evans had a joint on her when she was arrested.

Mr Singh said messages on Evans’ phone showed the extent of her dealing.

Alex Scott, appearing for Evans, told the court that the defendant had no previous convictions.

Judge Huw Rees adjourned the case until September 23 for a pre-sentence report to be prepared.

He granted the defendant bail until that date, but warned her that all sentencing options remained open.
