The weather didn't dampen spirits in Llandybie for the fete and carnival.

Despite the dreary weather, many participated in a fancy dress parade starting from the Public Memorial Hall.

Afterward, the King George Playing Field became the fete's location, hosting an assortment of amusements including a bucking bronco, and bird of prey display, musical entertainment and food and drink stalls.

Funds generated at the event were given to Llandybie School, demonstrating the community's commitment to education.
