There will be some banana fun in Ammanford this Friday as the Giant Fairtrade Banana Split returns.
Ammanford's Giant Fairtrade Banana Split will be at College Street Arcade and Piazza on Friday, September 20.
Fairtrade bananas, topped with ice cream, will be handed out for free.
The bananas and ice cream have been donated by the Ammanford, Llandybie, and Garnant Co-op stores.
The event is part of the town's annual Fairtrade Fortnight activities.
There will also be stalls from community groups, Fairtrade information, and fun activities.
Phil Broadhurst from Ammanford Fair Trade Town Group said: "We've been doing the banana split, in all weathers, since 2009, and it's always such a great way to raise awareness of Fairtrade, and have good fun and good food at the same time."
The fun starts at 6pm. It's all free, just bring a spoon.
