A Llandeilo charity walk raised more than £2,200 for Alzheimer's Cymru.
Llandeilo Dementia Friendly held its fifth Memory Walk on September 1.
The 2.5-mile walk through Parc Dinefwr was attended by a 'good crowd' of supporters, including Llandeilo town mayor, Cllr Charlotte Morgan.
Despite a heavy shower at the start was enjoyed by all according to treasurer Edward Thomas, and the event raised £262 on the day. However, there was an extra special donation to boost the funds.
Mr Thomas said they were 'very fortunate to have an anonymous donor giving us £2,000 towards the cause.'
Llandeilo Dementia Friendly also runs a weekly choir for dementia sufferers and their carers at Capel Newydd Vestry in conjunction with WNO. It takes place on a Monday afternoon from 2pm.
