A former bakery and car in Gorslas are going up for auction.

The former bakery, which hasn't been in operation for 30 years and the link detached house, is being sold by South Wales-based Paul Fosh Auctions.

The property, 13 Black Lion Road, includes a Citroen car, albeit without a key.

It is listed with a guide price of £163,000.

Angie Davey, of Paul Fosh Auctions, said: "It’s not often we sell former bakeries and even less frequently is a car included as part of a lot but the former oven and the Citroen car, without a key, all form part of this intriguing sale."

The property consists of a link detached house and an old bakery building with its oven, which has been non-functioning for more than 30 years.

There is also ample parking, garages and a garden.

Ms Davey said: "The property offers potential for development, subject to obtaining the necessary planning consent."

The main house includes a porch, two reception rooms, two kitchens, one with an Aga, a kitchenette, study, storeroom, four bedrooms, two bathrooms and a cloakroom.

There is double glazing and oil central heating, although this has not been tested.

The link detached bakery will require full renovation and currently provides four ground floor rooms including a large garage area, previously a loading bay, with garage and pedestrian doors, a lower room via a small staircase, currently waterlogged, the baker’s oven and storage room, lift hatch to first floor, door to courtyard.

There is a staircase to the first floor, with three vaulted rooms, including a flour storage area.

Outside, the part walled garden includes gravel and shrub areas plus an oil tank.

The enclosed courtyard, via the bakery room, houses two small open outbuildings.

There is a single garage for the main house with an internal door to the bakery.

The property is to be sold with vacant possession.

Ms Davey said: "The vendors have informed us that they will be clearing the house and bakery but will be leaving the car which is situated on the driveway with no key."

The property is located in Gorslas, approximately 13 miles from Llanelli.

This property, along with some 90 others, is included in the Paul Fosh Auctions online sale which starts at noon on Tuesday, October 1 and ends around 5pm on Thursday, October 3.
