The Ammanford Community Extravaganza featured a range of fun activities and numerous locals last Saturday (September 21).
At Quay Street there was face painting, a balloon artist, jugglers and street magicians, community information activities, along with arts a crafts courtesy of Menter Dinefwr.
While at the town's park there was a variety of different stalls, several inflatables and a petting farm.
Live performances were also at the event from acts such as:
- Local comedian Gareth P Morris
- Tumble's Lindy Hop Jive community dance group
- Folk dancing from youth group Aelwyd Penrhyd
- Children's entertainer Crazy Clayton
- Music from Laurence Lance Lewis, Ollie and Charlotte,
- Rock band Ghost Train
- Renowned local Welsh folk group Jac y Do
The event was organised by Ammanford Town Council and the day had a rainy start before the sun made a welcomed appearance in the afternoon.
