A man has admitted throwing a corrosive substance over another man with the intention to burn, maim, disable or disfigure.
Jivan Dean, 23, of no fixed abode, appeared at Swansea Crown Court this morning, Wednesday, September 25.
He pleaded guilty to causing a dangerous or noxious thing, namely Sodium Hydroxide, to be taken or received with intent to burn, maim, disfigure, disable or cause grievous bodily harm.
He also admitted a second charge of grievous bodily harm with intent.
Both offences took place on Wednesday, August 14 at Tipi Valley, Talley, Llandeilo.
A manhunt took place after the incident, with Dean being arrested and charged two days later.
After today’s hearing he was further remanded into custody until a sentencing hearing next month
