Councillors have revealed ‘no one is getting arrested’ despite frequent vandalism in toilets at an Ammanford car park.
CCTV footage has shown people damaging the toilets at Margaret Street Cark Park with arson.
At yesterday’s Ammanford Town Council meeting, it was reported that around six teenagers enter the disabled toilets together and light tree branches.
Councillor Johnny Owen said: “Some people are doing the damage, but no one is getting arrested.”
This update comes after the disabled toilet at Margaret Street Car Park was temporarily closed on September 14 due to vandalism.
Councillor Anthony Jones added: “It’s important that public report any incidents. The more stuff is reported, the more police react.
“For those who want to stay completely anonymous, call Crimestoppers. It will still get reported to police. These youngsters are causing too much damage.”
