A MAN will go on trial accused of stealing a taxi and driving it dangerously.
Nicholas Daniel, 34, of Felindre, appeared at Swansea Crown Court charged with two offences from July 29.
It was alleged that Daniel stole a Skoda Octavia taxi on Swansea Road in Waunarlwydd, and then drove it dangerously on Clasemont Road and the surrounding area in Morriston.
He pleaded not guilty to robbery and dangerous driving.
Judge Paul Thomas KC asked what Daniel’s defence was to the allegations.
“He has indicated that at this stage he cannot disclose his defence,” defence counsel Mr Evans said.
Judge Thomas remanded Daniel back in to custody and set a trial date of December 9.
