A celebration of the humble apple and the autumn harvest was held in Cwmdu near Llandeilo on October 12.
The annual event was staged at the Cwmdu Inn, community shop and post office and activities included juicing and apple identification with help from Dinefwr Orchardeers.
There were apple themed cookery and preserve competitions as well as the longest apple peel challenge.
Musical entertainment came from Cwmdu folk group and Carreg Las morris dancers performed in front of the pub.
For those who wanted to sample some produce, a bar offering no less than 30 ciders and perry's in alcoholic and nonalcoholic varieties was also provided.
