Llandeilo History Festival attracted the crowds when it was held on Saturday, October 12, in the Towy valley town.
Organised by Menter Dinefwr, the voluntary social enterprise and Welsh language initiative the focus of events was at its town centre base Hengwrt.
This building is steeped in history having been a corn exchange and magistrates court in the past. Now Menter Dinefwr has converted it into a heritage centre and community meeting venue.
Activities on the day included lectures on local history, guided historic walks of the town and a series of performances from local primary schools, Llandeilo town band and Welsh folk group Jac y Do.
There was also a competition for the best themed shop window and best historical costume.
