Carmarthenshire County Council is highlighting the success of its play day events, including one in Ammanford.
The Family Information Service, Childcare, and Play Team hosted these free family events over the summer to mark National Playday.
The initiative celebrates children's right to play and showcases its significance in their lives.
The events, held in Carmarthen Park, Ammanford Park, and Llanelli's Maes Y Gors, drew families and children from across the county.
They collaborated with various services within the council, Hywel Dda University Health Board, and third sector to provide families with resources and information about available support.
Activities ranged from giant bubble making to messy play, sports skills, and loose parts play, ensuring something for everyone.
Families also enjoyed a healthy picnic snack box.
The events saw an impressive turnout, with more than 400 children participating in the activities.
Councillor Jane Tremlett, cabinet member for social services and children and families services, said: "Play Day events in Carmarthenshire are a true celebration of our vibrant community spirit.
"Let's continue to champion the importance of play as a vital part of our children's development and well-being."
The council expressed gratitude to all those who contributed to the success of these events.
