A council has been recommended to rule out using a vacant Pontardawe building as a homelessness triage centre.
Neath Port Talbot Council’s cabinet is meeting on Wednesday, October 23, to discuss the future of the Cross Community Centre in Pontardawe.
A report will suggest dismissing the idea of using it as a triage centre or for temporary accommodation.
If the cabinet agrees, the council will continue exploring other options for the building, including a business centre or other community-focused uses.
