A MAN has been accused of careless driving after reportedly crashing in to a wall at high-speed in a 20mph limit.
David Bastiman, 38, of Heol Elfed in Llwynhendy, was charged with driving without due care and attention.
It was alleged that he was driving a Volkswagen Golf on Bethania Road in Upper Tumble on February 18.

Bastiman’s Golf was said to have been caught on CCTV “travelling at speed” in the 20mph limit before crashing in to a wall.
The prosecution alleged that the Golf’s speedometer was stuck at 52mph after the impact.
The court heard that Bastiman sustained “serious injuries”, including a broken rib, whilst “substantial damage” was caused to both the wall and his car.
The defendant pleaded not guilty to a charge of driving without due care and attention on October 9 at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court.
The case was adjourned, and Bastiman will return to court to face a trial on December 6.
