A MAN has admitted attacking a woman and smashing her TV.
Joel Davies, 31, appeared in court charged with assault by beating and criminal damage.
Davies was alleged to have assaulted a woman in Upper Brynamman on July 20. He was also accused of damaging her television on that same date.
The defendant pleaded guilty to both offences.

He was sentenced to a two-year community order at Llanelli Magistrates’ Court on October 9. As part of this, Davies must complete a 120-day alcohol abstinence and monitoring programme, as well as 15 rehabilitation activity requirement days.
Davies, of Edwards Terrace in Abergarwed, was ordered to complete a two-year mental health treatment programme, and must pay £85 in costs and a £114 surcharge.
