Llandybie Community Council has given out grants of more than £13,000 to community projects in the area.
More than 25 community groups attended the Community Grant Awards Evening at Llandybie Rugby Club to receive the funding.
Some of those that benefitted were Llandybie WI and Soar Chapel in Llandyfan as well as national charities like the Wales Air Ambulance.
The event was hosted by the chairperson of Llandybie Community Council, Councillor David Hopkins.
Grant applications are invited twice a year, with the next awards meeting slated for February 2025.
