A concert raised £1,000 for the Jac Lewis Foundation.
St David's Church in Saron organized the event at Saron Community Hall on Friday, October 25.
The crowd was entertained by Cor Lleisiau'r Cwm from the Amman Valley, led by Catrin Hughes, with baritone Aled Edwards from Cilycwm as a soloist.
Mel Morgan, a former headmaster of Saron School, bought the evening.
During the break, church officers handed over a £1,000 check to Jess and Janet Lewis and Julie Powell from the Jac Lewis Foundation.
Mr Lewis thanked the church officers and attendees, explaining the foundation's growth since inception and its service to all of Wales.
He expressed gratitude for the donations.
At the end of the night, Eirlys Davies thanked the artists, church members, the community, and other churches for supporting the event.
