A Buddy Holly tribute will be coming to Ystradgynlais.
Buddy Holly and the Cricketers will be performing as part of their autumn tour.
The show will take place at The Welfare on Saturday, November 9, at 7.30pm.
The last time the band played here was to a sold-out audience just a week before the UK went into lockdown in March 2020.
The band is known for playing a vibrant show featuring Buddy Holly's big hits like 'That’ll Be the Day,' 'Peggy Sue,' 'Heartbeat,' and 'Oh Boy!'.
The performances are delivered by actor-musicians who 'always have audiences dancing in the aisles.'
Producer Simon Fielder of Simon Fielder Productions, who is a former actor in the original touring and West End show, expressed his connection to the music.
He said: "As a young guitarist, I listened to Buddy, and he massively influenced my playing and writing.
"My adult life has been spent performing his music and presenting other actor-musicians on stages all over the world who have brought delight to thousands and thousands of people.
"The show has been on the road for 32 years now and even managed some performances during the years of the pandemic.
"Rock ’n’ roll will never die."
Buddy Holly and the Cricketers have been delighting audiences for three decades, performing in various locations around the world, including Europe and a tour of the US.
The band features some of the finest actor-musicians in the UK, including Jamie Ross as Buddy.
The show was endorsed as Britain’s most popular Buddy Holly act when it appeared on BBC One's The One and Only, with Graham Norton notably commenting that they were "Buddy Brilliant."
The show presents Buddy in the style of a show he would perform today, featuring authentic arrangements, driving rhythms, and energetic performances.
The band aims to keep the spirit of Buddy Holly alive, with his music transcending time and appealing to audiences of all ages.
Buddy's music has influenced famous artists such as The Beatles, The Rolling Stones, and Eric Clapton.
The band aims to offer a fun night out, promising to get your "heartbeat a little faster" with their performance.
The band is inviting everyone to join them for a night filled with "hoppin’ and boppin’" and to "dust off those dancing shoes."
Tickets can be purchased on The Welfare's website.
