The Llandovery farmers market will return this month with a Christmas theme including an appearance from Santa and lights switch-on.

On November 29, the ‘Bites, Delights and Christmas Lights’ event will start at 11am and finish at 8pm.

Shoppers can buy Christmas crafts, signs, hangings, homemade clothing, homeware and bespoke woodworks.

The Lights Switch-on is always popular with residents and visitors alike but this year Llandovery will offer so much more.

“It’ll be a day for ambling around town, enjoying everything local – from the food producers and crafters to the local shops and music.

“We are still finalising who will be there – but I do know that Santa is taking time out of his busy schedule to get Christmas started with an advance visit!”

Meanwhile, Christmas drinks on offer will include cider, spirits and liqueurs.

Other traders or entertainers are encouraged to get in touch as some spaces are still available.
