Llandeilo Literature Festival has been named 'Best Event 2024' by the Carmarthenshire Tourism Association.
Founder Christoph Fischer and 2025 festival chairperson Kate Glanville accepted the award at the Plough Hotel, Rhosmaen.
The hotel also won Best Hotel and Best Place to Eat, marking a successful night for Llandeilo.
The festival now moves forward to compete at the regional level against events and businesses in Pembrokeshire, Neath, and Swansea Bay.
Winners of the regional award will compete for the title of 'Best in Wales' next year.
The Llandeilo Literary Festival team is already preparing for the 2025 festival, set to take place from April 25 to 27.
Book lovers can find works by the festival's featured authors at Hengwrt on Carmarthen Street, an ideal Christmas gift.
