AN AMMANFORD man has denied attacking his neighbours.
Liam Evans, 32, of Fford Y Glowr in Betws, was charged with three offences against two women.
It was alleged that Evans strangled the two women on March 17 in Capel Hendre and assaulted one of the women.
He pleaded not guilty to battery and two charges of strangulation.

“It’s not a domestic case,” prosecutor Brian Simpson said. “They were neighbours.”
David Singh, appearing for Evans, said the defendant had since moved away from the area.
Judge Geraint Walters set a trial date of April 3. Evans was re-admitted to bail.
