IMAGES show the damage Storm Bert did in Ammanford yesterday (Saturday, November 23).

The storm featured a mixture of heavy rain and strong winds that flooded roads and caused levels to rise in the River Amman.

Cars drove through deep patches of water to reach their destination as the stormy weather conditions began yesterday morning and continued overnight.

Disruption was caused as drivers had no choice but to find alternative routes and avoid being stuck in the storm.

Rivers began to turn brown as the dirt beneath them rose to the surface in reaction to the fast gusts of wind.
