The Christmas Lights Switch On and fire show brought Ammanford to life on Saturday (November 30).

At 6pm the Christmas lights were switched on by the Mayor of Ammanford Heulwen Howells and the Ammanford Lions Club Santa and his helpers.

The fire show was one of the highlights, featuring fire juggling and various other tricks.

Meanwhile, Purple Penguins Cheeky Elf and Crazy Clayton provided children’s entertainment.

Quay Street was filled with numerous locals with a range of stalls, a funfair and shops staying open late to support the event.
