A new 'library of things' has opened in Llandovery.
Pethau Pawb, in Llandovery, allows people to borrow various items, from garden tools to party supplies, for a fraction of the purchase price.
The initiative aims to promote resource sharing, reduce waste, and save money.
Items available for rent include carpet cleaners, pressure washers, garden shredders, cake tins, a chocolate fountain, and a giant Connect 4 game, all of which can be borrowed for a small weekly fee.
The library's online catalogue can be found at pethaupawb.ynnisirgar.org, where users can reserve items for collection at the shop. People can also pop into the store and receive help to borrow items if they don't have access to a computer.
Beyond lending, Pethau Pawb provides recycling collection points for tablet blister packs and operates a bra bank supporting Breast Cancer Research.
The facility also offers a 'two-minute litter pick kit', encouraging residents to help keep Llandovery clean.
Users can collect rubbish while strolling around town, disposing of it in street litter bins.
Pethau Pawb is also preparing to launch 'Craft and Chat' evenings in January, inviting locals to bring their projects and enjoy an evening of coffee, biscuits, and conversation.
The initiative promises to be an exciting addition to the Llandovery community, offering more than just a service but a chance to connect with fellow residents.
For further details, interested parties can visit the shop or follow Pethau Pawb on Facebook.
