Brynaman Heritage Group have been celebrating a century of weddings in the community with an exhibition displaying everything from invitations to wedding dresses.
The exhibition, which was held last week an Brynaman Community Centre, showed how weddings have changed in the last 100 years.
Twenty seven wedding dresses were on display ranging from 1860-1987 all donated to the exhibition for a limited time.
A collection of wedding artefacts, including photos, invites, lucky charms and a 1920s style wedding cake, will be on display at the centre for the next few months.
The Heritage group, Treftadaeth Brynaman Heritage, undertake a number of local history projects and are keen to research the changes in Brynaman over the last century.
Two sold out film showings were also held at the community centre, showing the change in all aspects of weddings in Brynaman since the 1800s.
