WITH hearts firmly in mouths and edges of seats being the preferred option a nation paused for breath in the 77th minute of the big game last Saturday evening as Wales came through to make history.
The Welsh rugby team managed to secure their first victory over England in Cardiff for 12 years.
And victory was due in no small part to players from our area - Shane Williams, Adam Jones, Dwayne Peel and Mefin Davies.
This is truly something to be proud of in an area with a great tradition of rugby - and, more importantly, rugby greats.
These new players on the block have earned their places in the Welsh rugby hall of fame.
A team that has been growing in stature and skill has finally come of age. Now is the time for them to move on from this historic win and claim the greater prize of the Six Nations.
