Lewis Reed scored the winner on Saturday afternoon as Ammanford AFC beat Abergavenny Town 1-0 on away soil to go third in the JD Cymru South football league.
Reed, Ammanford’s top scorer with 16 league goals, converted a header in the second half to extend his side’s winning streak to eight matches.
Ammanford are now on the same points as second-placed Briton Ferry Llansawel who have a game in hand, and five points behind league leaders Llanelli Town.
