A number of planning applications for the Ammanford, Tycroes, Llandovery, and Llandeilo areas have been submitted to Carmarthenshire County Council.

Here are the applications submitted to the council between October 21 and 25.

Rear extension

A single-storey rear extension is proposed at 112 Ffordd Y Glowyr, Betws, Ammanford.

The extension will include an annex bedroom, en suite, and kitchen.

Biodiversity recommendations have been made, including the installation of a bat box and the planting of native species to retain connectivity to the surrounding habitat.

The application is open for consultation until November 18.

Discharge of conditions

An application has been made to discharge conditions 3, 11, 13, 14, and 15 on planning application PL/04067.

This relates to the construction of 14 affordable residential dwellings on land off Cilycwm Road, Llandovery.

The conditions involved a number of documents to be submitted.

Documents submitted include an application form, covering letter, decision notice, site location plan, affordable housing statement, construction environmental management plan, and written scheme of investigation for archaeological monitoring and recording.

The application is currently under consultation until November 13.

Slurry store

An application has been made for the construction of a slurry store and associated works at Glanrhyd Saeson, Manordeilo, Llandeilo.

The section of the site is currently an agricultural yard, with the farm keeping 220 dairy cows plus 240 followers.

The proposed store will have a diameter of 30.730 metres, a height of 7.073 metres, and will have a capacity of 5,100 cubic metres.

The proposal includes the translocation of the hedgerow to allow adequate space for the construction of the store.

The application is under consultation until November 11.

Signage and graphics

An application has been submitted for the removal of existing signage and graphics at 17 Ammanford Road, Tycroes, and the installation of new signs.

The new signage includes a fascia panel with a logo pod, a projecting sign, window vinyls, an extruded aluminium panatrim frame with a digitally printed panel, window manifestation, and poster cases.

The application is under consultation until November 15.
