Ammanford's JD Welsh Cup third-round game against Haverfordwest County will be televised.

The match at The Rec was selected by S4C for coverage.

It will kick off at 2.20pm on Saturday, November 16.

Fans unable to attend in person can watch on S4C, S4C Clic, BBC iPlayer, and Sgorio’s YouTube and Facebook pages.

This forms part of a double-header of Welsh football on S4C, with live coverage of Cymru’s UEFA Nations League fixture against Türkiye following the conclusion of the JD Welsh Cup match.

Ammanford and the Bluebirds will face each other in this competition for the second consecutive season.

Haverfordwest County won last season's match with a score of 2-0.

The two teams also met during pre-season in July, when Tony Pennock’s side won 3-0 against an experimental Ammanford team.

Manager Wyn Thomas said: "I’m delighted that the club, supporters, and community can come together to celebrate this fantastic football club.

"The hard work has already begun to make this a day to remember."

Chairman Rob Thomas was equally pleased with the news.

He said: "This is great news for the club.

"It gives us another opportunity to showcase our ever-improving facilities and the atmosphere that the Black and White Army generates in support of Wyn Thomas and the boys."

Ammanford reached this stage of the competition after a 1-0 victory over top-tier Aberystwyth Town.

In the previous round, Haverfordwest triumphed in the battle of the Bluebirds against tier-2 Trethomas in a penalty shootout.
