Ammanford AFC secured an impressive win against Trefelin BGC in the JD Cymru South league.
A 50th-minute strike from Lewis Reed was enough to secure the victory for the team, bouncing back from a penalty defeat to Haverfordwest in the previous Welsh Cup match.
The match, one of the few weekend sporting fixtures to survive Storm Bert, was played on Friday under floodlights at Ynys Park, Port Talbot.
Ammanford AFC is currently 11th in the league table and is scheduled to play Taff's Well away next Saturday afternoon.
